After teasing the metropole crowd with a bubulicious EP, Télé Télé, and some memorable and colorful live performances under the lights of the Francofolies and Pop Montreal, the foursome Radio Radio will be in town in April to reveal their highly expected Cliché Hot, a first full length album on Bonsound Records Label. Born from the hashes of the former bands Jacobus and Maleco, Radio Radio is offering a unique sound, a fieverish halfway between electro and hip-hop. Enlighted by their chiac accents - a hybrid form of language owned by the Acadians from East of the country - their mixture of sounds has become contagious with thick, old-school grooves, incessant flows and a fluo hip energy. |
